About Me

I paint in layers — returning, erasing, building again. Nothing is fixed. Each piece is a process of insistence.

Art wasn’t where I began. My background is in legal-political sciences, shaped by structure, clarity, and control. Painting became the rupture — a way to step outside that logic and work through instinct, tension, and uncertainty.

Based in Barcelona, I work with mixed media — acrylic, sand, thread, sisal rope, foil — and sometimes fire. Surfaces are not simply painted, they are worked: scratched into, burned, disrupted, rebuilt. What matters is not perfection, but presence — something raw, physical, unresolved.

I don’t begin with an image. I begin with a state. The painting emerges through friction between control and release, between what I intend and what resists.

What remains on the canvas is not a representation, but a trace — of time, of tension, of something that had to be worked through.

If it resonates, it’s because something in it is still alive
